Said Yaaqoubi, LMT

Hands-on care for chronic pain and injury since 1998, grounded in European clinical training.

Said brings approaches from clinics in Europe and the United States to one goal: making sure each patient gets the right treatment for their specific condition.

He trained in Europe, completing 2,230 hours of instructor-supervised coursework at a state-approved massage school and a six-month internship at Grosshadern University Clinic in Munich. He then completed more than 180 hours of specialized training in manual lymphatic drainage and complete decongestive therapy at the Földi Clinic, including the care of cancer patients.

Since then he has worked alongside medical doctors and chiropractors, providing orthopaedic massage for their patients. In the United States he trained in the orthopaedic massage method taught by James Waslaski and has served as his teaching assistant. The method pairs functional assessment with myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, positional release, joint capsule work, myoskeletal alignment, stretching, strength training and home care tailored to each client.
